22 Years of Faithful Service and Ministry
For the past 22 years, EOTC MBW North America has remained steadfast in its commitment to serving the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and its communities through faith, education, humanitarian outreach, youth development, and spiritual growth. Guided by the teachings of the Church and a spirit of service, the organization has made a lasting impact both in North America and Ethiopia.
Our Ministries and Accomplishments
1. Supporting Traditional Church Education
EOTC MBW North America has partnered with Mahibere Kidusan to establish and support Ethiopian Orthodox traditional schools (Abenet Temhert Bet). These efforts help preserve the Church’s sacred teachings, liturgical traditions, ancient language, spiritual heritage, and centuries-old educational practices for future generations.
2. Humanitarian Relief and Community Support
The organization has provided humanitarian assistance to communities affected by famine, poverty, and other hardships throughout Ethiopia. Through the generosity of its members and supporters, EOTC MBW North America has delivered much-needed aid to vulnerable families and communities during times of crisis.
3. Church Construction and Renovation
EOTC MBW North America has contributed to the construction of new Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo churches and the restoration and renovation of existing church buildings. These efforts help preserve sacred places of worship while strengthening local Orthodox communities for generations to come.
4. Youth Leadership Development in North America
Recognizing that today’s youth are tomorrow’s Church leaders, EOTC MBW North America has organized educational, spiritual, and leadership programs across North America. These initiatives encourage young people to deepen their Orthodox faith, develop leadership skills, strengthen fellowship, and actively participate in the life and mission of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
5. Spiritual Conferences, Seminars, and Sermons
Each year, EOTC MBW North America hosts spiritual conferences, seminars, retreats, and sermons that provide opportunities for worship, biblical and theological learning, fellowship, and personal spiritual growth. These gatherings strengthen the faith of members while fostering unity throughout the Orthodox community.
Looking Toward the Future
As EOTC MBW North America continues its mission, it remains committed to strengthening the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, serving communities in need, preserving the Church’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage, and inspiring future generations to live lives rooted in faith, service, humility, and Christian love.
Together, with God’s grace, we look forward to continuing this ministry for many years to come—building stronger communities, nurturing faithful leaders, and sharing the enduring traditions of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church throughout North America and beyond.
